Susie Crouch Mathias

I was born Virginia Ann Crouch on April 12, 1949, to Florence (Tookie) & Stanley Crouch, Sr. I was called Susie all my life. I made it officially part of my name in when I married in 1989.

I was preceded in death by my mother and father, Florence (Tookie) Jenkins Crouch and Stanley C. Crouch, Sr.; and my brother, Robert W. Crouch.

I am survived by my husband, Grady J. (Jim) Mathias; brother, Stanley C. Crouch Jr.; sister, Karen L. Crouch; nieces, Shelby Crouch (Robert Barrowclift), Brittany Crouch, Megan Crouch (Sam Gulley), Gwendolyn Bush & Brooke Tucker (Aaron); nephews, Kirby Bush, Tim Crouch (Elizabeth); great nieces, Olivia Bush, Willow Crouch and Mylah Gulley; and great nephews, Wyatt Crouch and Linc Tucker. I am also survived by my brothers in law, W. Thomas Mathias (Claudette), Melven R. Mathias, Jr (Susan) and James Carl.

I was a 1967 graduate of J.R. Tucker High School and had careers with Best Products Co. Inc. and with The Martin Agency/Telmark.

I had a good life on earth. My greatest joy was spending time with my immediate and extended family, my sweet cousins, my treasured lifelong friends, my Pink Flamingo Queens, my Neptune Diehards, my RNL friends and my work friends.
