He was my southern gentleman, we had some great fun together, miss you Merriman or as Joe would say, Subaru!  Xo

Steve was the best neighbor a person could ask for.  Just a lovely man, caring, easy to talk to and genuine.  Steve, you will be greatly missed.

I remember Steve from his days of bartending at The Sheik back in the 70's.  I probably cooked him the worst chicken dinner he ever had.  He was always so kind.  I had plans to crash one of his lunches with Dick Boswell and regretfully never made it.  Rest in peace Steve.

Steve was one of my best friends and more like a big brother.  We go back a long way together traveling around the country to bowling tournaments or attending Seafood spots up and down the coast.  We had many great times together and my wife and I will miss our weekly Outback lunch dates on Wednesdays.  It so hard to think that he is gone after I had talked with him just a few days eariler.  He will truely be missed.  God, please take care of our friend !  Love you Steve......

Steve and I were long time friends since I started working at Mooers Volvo in 1991. He was such a wonderful friend and I will miss our lunches and our conversations for hours at a time.  Rest In Peace my sweet friend 💖 


Steve was a dear friend to me since his early sales career at Royal Oldsmobile. I was lucky that we still cherished staying in touch for close to forty years and continued to have great talks about life in the automotive business . Steve will be dearly missed.  Laura Jones Jaquez
