

It is with deep sorrow that the family of Sharon Ann Campbell Lewis announces her passing on November 21, 2025, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Richmond, Virginia, following cardiac arrest after surgery. She was 78 years old.
Born on August 19, 1947, Sharon lived a full and vibrant life, known for her sharp wit, remarkable memory, and unwavering devotion to her family. She dedicated much of her life to raising her son and helping to raise her grandchildren, and she was a loving partner, mother, grandmother, and friend.
She enjoyed a long and accomplished career in the ophthalmology and optometric fields, serving as a technician, working in finance, and sharing her expertise with countless patients and colleagues. Many admired her ability to explain the care of contact lenses and eye health with clarity and compassion.
She is survived by her son, Stephen Blair Larson; her grandchildren, Kendall Nicole Larson and Stephen Connor Larson; and her longtime partner of more than 40 years, Dennis Harold. She will also be remembered fondly by her extended family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
In accordance with her wishes, she will be cremated. A funeral service to celebrate her life will be held on Sunday, December 21, 2025, at 1:00 pm at Thomas Chapel, 1313 Cartersville Rd, Cartersville, Virginia 23027, conducted by Rev. Rick Bucher, a longtime family friend and neighbor of more than 45 years.
The family is deeply grateful for the love, support, and prayers received during this time.
