Sarah Margaret Wunschel-South

Sarah Margaret Wunschel - South, 31, of Chesterfield, Virginia, went to be with the Lord on June 20, 2024.

She was born 1993 in Jacksonville, Florida to Stephen Wunschel and Dona Bowers Wunschel. Sarah leaves behind William Adam South, her husband of 4.5 years, and her daughters Jenna Margaret Wunschel and Hannah Grace South. Sarah is also survived by her parents, her brother Benjamin S Wunschel, her grandparents Margaret Diane Bowers and Clarence Cosmo Roberts, as well as an aunt, uncles and several cousins.

Sarah graduated magna cum laude from Virginia Commonwealth University and went on to earn a Masters of Accountancy. After obtaining her CPA, Sarah worked as a Senior Tax Accountant in several major firms.

Sarah was a kind woman who enjoyed reading, spending time with her family, and assisting people who needed it. She was on the board of and involved with setting up the business end of the Richmond Branch of the International Plastic Modelers Society. Her ambitious attitude, warm smile, and humble heart will be missed.

A service to remember Sarah and her life will be held 11:00 et on Monday, July 1st, at West End Presbyterian Church, on Quioccasin Road. The family asks that any charitable donations be made to the Cameron K. Gallagher Foundation.
