Sandra Dodd Walker

She was born on October 13, 1948, to Susan Catherine and Alvin “O’Boy” Dodd, and raised in Alexandria, Virginia.

She married James “Tro” Chorovich on March 11, 1978 and had two children, Erinn and John. Their loving partnership continued until his death on April 13, 2007.

Sandy later reconnected with a high school classmate, Charles “Chuck” Walker. They were joined in matrimony on March 18, 2010 and resided in Decatur, TN. Chuck departed this earth on July 19, 2020.

She returned to Virginia and enjoyed time with her children and grandchildren. Sandy loved her family, friends and all animals. She was passionate about and an advocate for what she believed to be true and right. She enjoyed a good fight and fought hard through illness and waning health.

Sandy is survived by her daughter Erinn Dilday (husband Bryan), grandchildren Corinne and Coyan of Chesterfield, son John Chorovich (wife Sara), granddaughter Elodie of Burke, brother Daniel Dodd (wife Susan) of Fredericksburg.

She is predeceased by husband James “Tro” Chorovich, husband Charles “Chuck Walker, and parents Susan and Alvin Dodd.

A celebration of life will be held in Northern Virginia with details forthcoming.
