A retired Navy pilot, Dan never met a stranger and loved to regale his family and friends with tales of his many adventures and misadventures. He leaves a behind a legacy of integrity, friendship, humor, and most of all loyalty.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years, Marcia, his daughter Maya (Stuart) Glaser, grandsons Brooks and Silas, sisters Barbara (John) Monical and Toni (Charles) Rice, and many extended family members and friends.
Dan cared deeply about supporting veterans. In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to the Wounded Warrior Project in his memory.
