Rebecca “Becky” Livingston Bray of Richmond, Virginia passed away on Wednesday, February 18, 2026 surrounded by her loving children, following a long battle with breast cancer that she faced with characteristic strength and grace. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend whose warmth, generosity, humor, and unmistakable style touched everyone who knew her.

She attended the University of Florida for her undergraduate degree and later earned her MBA from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia.
Bold, chic, and full of life, Becky never did anything halfway. She delighted in travel, returning often to favorite places including St. John, Paris, Kauai, and the Grand Canyon. She loved bridge, cruises, plants, picnics, biking with friends, and mornings watching the Today Show — often sharing what she learned with family and friends.
After devoting many years to raising her children, Becky restarted her career as a commercial real estate appraiser, earning the respect of colleagues through her persistence, intelligence, and work ethic. She approached life with resilience, humor, and a spirited independence that inspired those around her. She was a fierce advocate for her children and family, always encouraging them to stand up for themselves and live fully.
