Maureen Ann Stewart

Preceded in death by her parents Anna Re’ Stewart and Walter McGargal, and her husband of 44 years John Stewart (2021) “Silver Fox” she was his “Babycakes”. Lastly her granddaughter Tabitha Nicole (1992). She is survived by one sister Suzanne Dopki of Michigan, two daughters Juliann (Chris) Hubbard of Virginia, and Colleen Rowlett of North Carolina, three granddaughters Amanda Bradford of Nevada, Victoria Hubbard and Danielle (Thomas) Bird of Virginia. Maureen is also survived by Nephews, Walter Sutton, Michael Sutton, and Robert Sutton (Tracey), Niece Renata Miller (Jim) all of Michigan, and many great nieces, and nephews, beloved friends, and her cherished dog “Sweet Pea.” Maureen was a retired special educational instructional assistant for Chesterfield County.

A devoted Mother, Wife, Grandmother (Ma) and Aunt, she loved deeply, and traveled to amazing destinations for many years, an avid flower gardener, knitter, stargazer, a lover of life and nature.

Graveside service will be held at the Veterans Cemetery, in Amelia, 10300 Pridesville Road, Amelia VA, 23002 Friday September 26, 2025 at 3:00pm in the Chapel .
