
Mary Margaret Edgar Robinson (80) was born in Elgin, IL but moved a year later to Titusville, PA where she graduated from Titusville High School in 1962. She then graduated from Robert Morris College in Pittsburgh, PA where she was a member of Alpha Iota honorary business sorority. She loved her first job in the Alumni Office at Pitt. She joined the Explorers Club of Pittsburgh and enjoyed rock climbing, canoeing, caving, scuba diving and parachuting. She was a member of their 1967 expedition team to Ecuador to climb Cotopaxi.
She married Neal Robinson in 1969 and they raised two daughters, Lisa Robinson Croxall (Julian) and Amy Hales and delighted in spending time with their two grandchildren, Maya Linda Hales (17) and Jake Neal Hales (13).
Mary was in Girl Scouts for 73 years and earned the Curved Bar (highest girl award) and the Thanks Badge (highest adult award) for her many positions from Troop Leader to Girl Scout Camp Director to Council Trainer.
Mary was an active member of Williamsburg United Methodist Church and a member of Heritage Circle, as well as a trained Stephen Minister.
Mary was predeceased by her beloved daughter Lisa. She leaves, in addition to her husband Neal, daughter Amy and grandchildren Maya and Jake, sisters Beth Edgar of Clearwater, FL and Sylvia Young (Thomas) of Asheville, NC and brother John Edgar (Kelly) of Lancaster, PA.
