John Edwin Temple

John will be deeply missed and forever cherished by his kids; daughter, Kimber Carey (Chris); son, Josh Temple (Billy); grandchildren, Kiernan, Ceallan, and Kerrigan Carey; and extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Katherine Harrell; step-father, Alvin Harrell; and wife, Peggy Temple.

John found joy in spending time with his family, fishing, grilling, and ‘tinkering’. He was a remarkable mechanic with a knack for making things work. He was a member of Matoaca United Methodist Church.

Memorial services will not be held for John. His wish was for a quiet cremation and no ‘extra fuss’.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in John’s memory may be made to the Wildlife Foundation of Virginia.

May his soul find eternal peace.
