Dear  Vaughan family…..
I met and hired Howard in 1978 while at Creative Displays, an advertising firm. His hiring was one of the best decisions of my life as I hired a brilliant man and lifelong friend. 
He was a force of nature….witty, loyal and kind. I just found his obituary and wish I could have responded sooner.  Howard, to me, was the older brother I never had. I shall miss him dearly and I hope, for you, his family, you’re buoyed by all his wonderful memories as he was a delight to be with!!
