One of the honors of practicing law is being able to do it with someone like Ron.  He made the practice fun. My condolences to Kim and the children of whom he was so proud.

Ronald (known as "George" to me) was my first boyfriend. Our 3rd grade romance faltered once I began wearing eyeglasses and I never saw him again in later years, but I never forgot him. In the 3rd grade picture above, he is sitting up tall and straight, 2nd from front, in the 2nd row in from the blackboard. He was my hero! I rejoice to read of others' fond memories and admiration for this memorable boy-turned-man.

Ronnie and I were together in high school and he was ahead of me at U of R. Always had time for a visit to check up on me at Westhampton. sympathy to the family.  Betty K. Cross Kennon

Betsy and I send our heartfelt condolences to Kim and his extended family. Our friendship goes back 50+ years. Not only was Ronnie a great friend, he was a great Lawyer with whom I used for closings in the real estate world. He was very good in his trade. He was intelligent, organized, and handled all scenarios well. We spent a lot of good times together at UR football games and social gatherings with a libation or two. He was a true wordsmith. He would stand tall debating anyone. I just wanted to bring him out of his shell. He could push his good friend’s buttons, Jimmy McKenna, which was hilarious to Augie Lang and me. My deepest sympathy to the family. Ronald and I went to school together and had so many good times together.  I loved him like a brother.  I have so many great memories of our friendship. He was kind and compassionate and a good person. Rest in peace my friend.

He was my brother, my partner-in-crime, and my best friend. We flew together, we played ball together, we had high adventures and low.

He was a good man and a brilliant attorney, devoted to his wife and children, loyal to his friends, a man of absolute integrity. And he was always entertaining.

Now he begins his journey onward. He will be deeply missed. I will see him again. 

Kim and family , As we have discussed we were truly friends in the deepest sense of real friendship and love. A brilliant mind and a good heart we shared the good times and the bad . A talented athlete , who overcame a near death accident and used that experience to build strength and character . Never lost for words but compassionate and softhearted under it all. Already miss him and trust he is resting in peace and hopefully telling an audience of some of his life's experiences -----WITH SYMPATHY AND LOVE, JOHNNY AND COOKIE FLEET
