She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Gertrude Thor; her beloved husband of 64 years, Cliff Ellison; brother Donald Thor, and sister Helen Sillman. She is survived by her children: Sharon Tuckwiller (George), Lee Ellison (Debbie), Craig Ellison (Nina); grandchildren: Matt, Anna, Jeanne, Richie, Mark, Rachel, Aaron, Elle, and Leah, as well as 18 great-grandchildren; her sister-in-law Joanne Bergwall; five nieces and a nephew.
Eva was a wonderful Christian, a woman of deep faith and a very active member of Bon Air Baptist Church. She and Cliff had the gift of hospitality and made many dear friends by reaching out in loving, caring ways. Eva loved camping at Kerr Lake.
The family will receive visitors on Saturday, January 13 at 10:00 am in the sanctuary of Bon Air Baptist Church where a celebration service will begin at 11:00 am.
