Donn Sullivan Grover

Donn was born on April 13, 1946, in Rutland, Vermont. He is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Jenny Grover; his stepchildren, Margy Spruill and her husband, Steve, and Ernesto Castillo and his wife, Adele; six grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Throughout his career, he proudly served in the United States Navy and the United States Coast Guard before continuing his commitment to public service through his work with the federal government. Beyond his professional career, Donn generously volunteered with his churches and numerous community organizations.

An artist at heart, Donn found his greatest joy in painting. His creativity extended beyond the canvas, and one of his proudest accomplishments was helping restore the antique carousel at Lake Accotink Park, preserving a treasured piece of history for generations to enjoy.

Donn also enjoyed fishing, playing bingo, spending time with his grandchildren, and had a special affection for dogs.

A celebration of Donn's life will be held at a later date. Thank you for your condolences to Jenny and respect for her privacy during this time.
