

Chris was the son of Roger and Katherine Green and was proceeded in death by his brother, Michael. He is survived by his son, Joseph Green, his brother David and nephew, Jonah Green.
Chris, a talented carpenter and craftsman, provided excellent work to many of his family and friend’s homes and properties over the years. A man of many hobbies, Chris enjoyed target shooting, archery, knife making and throwing his knives.
A friend to all he became acquainted with, he especially enjoyed many evenings sitting at the bar, socializing at the iconic O’Toole’s Restaurant with his close companion, Roberta Cook. Chris throughout his life had many dogs, he became especially fond of walking his dog Chloe along the trails near Byrd Park’s historic Pump House.
The family would like to acknowledge those family and friends that lovingly took care of Chris, especially Bert, Scott, Tim and Sue.
At Chris’ request, no funeral or memorial services will be held. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Richmond SPCA.
