Carol graduated from Bluefield College with an Associate degree, followed by graduation from the Richmond Professional Institute (RPI) with a degree in Commercial Art. She also completed a graduate year at Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, and then attended a special language school where she learned to speak Spanish. After that she went to Bolivia, South America, to share the hope of Jesus with those who don’t know Him. However she had to return to the U.S. due to serious health issues. Later, Carol, along with her husband, Tom, volunteered for many years at the Hunter Holmes McGuire Richmond VA Medical Center.
Carol’s greatest joy in life was telling as many people as she could about Jesus. She Looked forward to going Home to Heaven where she could be with Jesus forever. Carol would want anyone who reads this to know Jesus, His love for each one of us, how He died and rose again to pay for our sins, and that if we confess our sins to Him, and accept Him as our Savior, He will forgive us our sins, and give us eternal life with Him.
A Bible verse Carol loved was John 3:16 which says: “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.”
