He was born in Waterbury, CT June 21, 2002 and is survived by Clark and Destiny, his siblings Nico and Angelina, his Aunt Christine and her children and his aunt Carrie. He was also loved by the family next door, the Tanguays. His best friends in CT were Michael and Richie. He resided the last 3 years in Virginia with his Uncle Steve and Aunt Carrie.
Austin was always full of adventure often ending in cuts, scrapes and bruises in the true Kathan way. Although he was known to be very stubborn and have a loud unfiltered mouth, he was truly a clown and always tried to make everyone laugh. Austin had a contagious smile providing levity and support to those around him. Hard working but rarely serious, he began his life of hard work with R. Tanguay Lawncare and Landscaping in CT. While in Virginia he prospered working with Cranemasters, developing a core of close friends in his coworkers. He enjoyed working out at the gym, riding anything with wheels, fishing, fixing anything he could get his hands on, and hanging out with his friends.
Although his life was brief, he lived it fully. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him, and forever in our hearts. Austin, a son, a nephew, a brother, a friend and now a guardian angel wrestling in heaven with gramma Betsey and Uncle Steven.
