Douglas Lee Teach, age 69, of Natural Bridge Station, Va., passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 2, 2025. He was born on November 27, 1955 in Riceville Iowa; son of the late Richard Teach and Jean Eldridge.
In 1980 Doug received an Associate of Arts degree from Luther College in Decorah, Iowa. He competed in wrestling and remained a lifelong fan of Iowa wrestling. He was a proud Eagle Scout who earned the distinguished Order of the Arrow designation. Doug enjoyed his career in Airport Operations and travelled extensively. He loved outdoor activities and watching movies with his sons.
Doug was preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Megan Teach.
Doug is survived by his children: Nathan Teach and Matthew Teach; and his brother, Del Teach. He also leaves behind other family members and friends that will sadly miss him.
