

Diane was born in Baltimore Maryland and raised in Pimlico. She was 2nd youngest of 4 children of her mother Margret and oldest of 2 children of her Father Alex Chire.
Diane married young right out of Western High School in 1967 and had one daughter Michele Lynn Warren on Dec 23rd 1968.
She graduated Nursing school in 1980. Diane’s first nursing job was part of a 4 member urgent and routine care Team in Reisterstown MD. from 1982 -1991. She spent most of her nursing career as a Charge Nurse at a Private Nursing home in Baltimore MD. from 1991-2008. The last few years before retirement she worked as a private home nurse from 2009-2012.
On June 7th, 1985 she met Brian Keith Yonce when he spotted her in a restaurant and invited her to join him at his table. It was love at first sight and the relationship took off quickly and continued the rest of her life. They were married on Oct 2nd 1986 and resided in Reisterstown MD.
Diane and Brian welcomed their only child Heather Nicole Yonce into the world on March 6th, 1987 at Siani Hospital in Baltimore.
Diane loved to travel, Brian Heather and her would take many adventure trips including driving across country from Ocean City MD. to Santa Monica Beach CA. by car. Taking a wandering path across and back to see as many interesting things as they could. There were many other traveling adventures including a trip to the Bahama’s on her 50th Birthday that her 1st daughter Michele sent them on. The travel bug allowed small times of living in different places and Diane and her family lived in Harford County MD where Brian was from, PA, AZ, NC, TX and back to where she loved the beach at NC again.
Diane was an avid reader and constant patron of the public library. One of her favorite things was to take a book, place her beach chair at the ocean surf and sit and read while the waves washed over her feet in the sand.
When she wasn’t at the beach she loved to spend time with her family and pets. Diane had many animals she loved during her life from cats and dogs to birds and lizards and fish. She was an animal lover and they all loved her back.
Diane was a big NFL fan and really missed the Colts who had been moved to another state.So she was very excited when Baltimore got another football team again and Brian, Heather and her would go to all the events they could . They met the new players and were proud to be a part of the naming of the team by voting in a poll. Many years of family and community joy followed including two Super Bowl wins. Go Ravens!
Diane, Brian and Heather spent almost every day together as a close family unit up until the day she passed.
Diane was preceded in death by her sister Shirley Arthur, her mother Margeret Chire, her father Alex Chire, her brother Richard, her sister Jackie Arthur and her grandson Craig Augustyniak.
Diane is survived by her husband Brian Yonce of NC, her daughters Michele Warren of PA and Heather Yonce of NC. She leaves behind grandchildren Maggie Lundsford of ID, Cody Magana of PA, Christopher Magana of PA, Jack Magana of PA. Also great grandchildren Tristan Lundsford, Jamison Lundsford, Maddie Lundsford and Zayden Lundsford all of ID.
She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her
