Scattering Options

The Cremation Society of Virginia is able to arrange scattering at sea off the coast of many locations: Virginia, North Carolina; the Florida Keys, California, and Hawaii. In most cases, we can arrange for family members to attend the scattering ceremony. Families receive a certificate showing the date and coordinates (Latitude and Longitude) at which the scattering occurred. Prices vary according to location selected. 

Virginia: $275 

North Carolina: $275

California (San Francisco area): $575

California (Southern California): $575

Hawaii: $795

 Aerial Scattering 

Scattering of cremated remains from aircraft may be arranged. Currently this service is available in limited areas. Families receive a certificate showing the date and coordinates (Latitude and Longitude) at which the scattering occurred. 

California 

Aerial scattering of cremated remains off beautiful coast of Big Sur. Family receives: Certificate of scattering, including time and position of release and a color photograph of scattering location $775

Hawaii 

Aerial scattering of cremated remains, along with over 200 exotic flower blossoms. Family receives: Certificate of scattering, including time and position of release and a color photograph of scattering location $995

Additional Options
